Step 1.   Incoming Inspection
Your aircraft is inspected upon arrival by
our team and our A&P  for any obvious
flaws or discrepancies on your aircraft.

All items of concern will be brought to
your immediate attention.
Step 2.   Preparation for Stripping
Your aircraft is then prepared for
chemical strip.

We carefully tape up all openings,
panels, fiberglass, windows, and gears so
that no chemical stripper damages any
integral parts.
Step 3.   Metal Conversion Coating
After your aircraft is striped, we
remove the flight controls and finish
stripping the parts.
It is then cleaned with an alkaline
soap to neutralize the pH of the metal to
prepare for the conversion coating
process.
We then apply an acid etch, clean and
verify a water break-free surface.
Then apply a chromated alodine
coating.
Step 4.    Application of Topcoat
After all bodywork and necessary
fiberglass work is done.  A coat of
chromated epoxy primer is applied.  Then
three coats of urethane
topcoats are applied.
(Corporate jets require a sanding
surfacer to be applied after the primer,
which is sanded to a smooth finish prior
to top coating)
We use the Alumigrip top coat system
from  AKZO NOBLE, Aerospace coatings for
base coat, and Sherwin Williams
Aerospace Coatings Acry Glo for the trim
colors.
Step 5.    Stripe Application
Great care is taken to apply the stripe
design just
as you wanted.

We like our lines to look clean and sharp.

Step 6.   Reassembly
All flight controls are checked for
appropriate balance and adjusted if
necessary.

Then reinstalled per the applicable
MM
that we have on site.
Step 7.    Final Detail
After all the paint work is done, we spend
at least two days detailing your aircraft.

Applying all necessary erosion tapes,
placarding, window sealant, and looking
over your entire airplane to ensure a
quality finish.
Step 8.  Inspection and Delivery
Prior to delivery our inspector looks over
the entire aircraft before releasing it
back into service.

A touch up kit and log entry is given to you
upon completion.
